Full Wilderness First Response (WFR)
3–12 November 2026 | US$785
The Full Wilderness First Response course is a 10-day, in-depth wilderness medicine programme designed for people who may need to provide medical care in remote or challenging environments.
With hands-on training and teaching from multiple instructors, the course covers much more than conventional first aid. Participants learn how to assess patients, manage injuries and illness, make informed decisions in remote environments and provide care when evacuation or professional medical assistance may be some distance away.
For guides and outdoor professionals who spend significant time in the field with guests, WFR training can be an invaluable part of professional preparation.
The course is fully accredited.
Wilderness First Aid & WFR Recertification
16–18 November 2026 | US$360
This three-day course provides extended guidance in wilderness medicine skills development and is also an opportunity for qualified WFR professionals to complete their WFR recertification (after every 2 years).
Wilderness First Responder certification generally requires renewal every two years, making this a useful opportunity for guides and other qualified professionals whose certification is due for renewal.
The course provides practical training and refreshes essential skills for dealing with medical situations in remote environments.

Leave No Trace

The Leave No Trace (LNT) course introduces internationally recognised principles for minimising our impact on the natural environment while travelling, guiding and working outdoors.

Basic First Aid

The one-day Basic First Aid (BFA) course provides essential skills for responding to an emergency, alongside an introduction to the principles of wilderness medicine.
