Horse Riding Safaris

Why not live out your dreams by spending a few days riding thought the wild African Bush.

Biking in Tanzania

Simply put biking across the rolling plains of Tanzania is just the very best way to see what this unique mountain studded savannah has to offer.  Decent dirt tracks and good game trails cover most parts of the route between the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Great Rift Valley.

Bike travel is the perfect speed to cover many kms a day at a speed that allows you to take in the county side and often view animals at fairly close distance.

Combine this with a camp that provides camp cots with foam matteresses, pillows and duvets, showers every day, great food prepared and served  in a dinning tent with beer and wine; but is still lightweight enough to move and follow you every day.  Camp will be broken down after you leave and will be set up before you arrive.

A safari by mountain bike is an incredible way to experience the beauty and wildlife of Africa. Join us for a unique journey into the African bush as we explore the rolling savannas between the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the dramatic escarpments of the Great Rift Valley.

We follow game trails and rugged bush tracks, riding at a pace that lets us approach wildlife and take in the fascinating details of the African bush that one can never see from a vehicle. Along the way, we also visit Masai bomas (villages) for a fascinating opportunity to learn about traditional life in a remote Masai community. Our nightly mobile bush camps are wonderful places to relax and savor the wilderness setting, the campfire, and the fantastic sounds of the African night. On two nights, we enjoy accommodations at a delightful lodge near Ngorongoro Crater for phenomenal gameviewing by 4WD in the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.

We have completed significant scouting for the journey. However, it is an expedition, and as with all first-time exploratory adventures, it requires a spirit of adventure.
